LETS GET TOGETHER
Having planned the first successful "union" last year, I wish to invite you all to a family "reunion" in Westport,CT to be held again at my sisters yacht club. It is a very comfortable place with lots of room to mingle, eat, have a bit of wine and chat. It is very accessible by car, train, plane or bus. Last year we had 19 "cousins", most meeting for the first time. Plans are still in the making for August 2011 and any suggestions are most welcome. It was very exciting for me to meet family I never knew existed and I hope you will join us and share the excitement of meet new cousins, sharing times of the past, and just having a good time.

ReplyDeleteIf we decide to do a 2 day reunion, I don't think we can host it at my club over a busy summer. However, a one day event I think would be just fine. Do you think others would want to come for a one day or two day event? I guess we should start polling family to understand their interest. Westport certainly is convenient and makes a nice destination if others are traveling to us. We could arrange transport from the Westport train station as well.

I have no preference. If we decide on a two day event, then I will be there both days.
